The DS1340Z-33+ is a real-time clock (RTC) integrated circuit with an integrated trickle charger, manufactured by Analog Devices. Operating from a 3.3V supply, the device uses an I2C serial interface and relies on an external 32.768kHz crystal to keep time. It tracks seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year with automatic leap year correction, and includes a programmable trickle charge circuit for a backup supercapacitor or rechargeable cell.
