Now an end-of-life PowerPC G4 microprocessor from NXP’s MPC7410 family, the MPC7410HX450LE delivers 450 MHz performance in a ceramic ball grid array (CBGA) package qualified to the manufacturer’s HiRel flow. The 32-bit architecture integrates an AltiVec vector processing unit to accelerate signal and image computing tasks, while the HiRel screening provides extended-temperature operation and lot-level reliability testing intended for aerospace, defense, and other high-consequence embedded systems.
NXP has officially discontinued this part and it is no longer in active production. ZZX Electronics bridges the resulting supply gap by sourcing sustaining stock with full date-code traceability for legacy programs. For designs where a board respin, software re-qualification, or regulatory recertification is cost-prohibitive, this obsolete processor remains a practical drop-in solution—keeping fielded military computing modules, avionics line-replaceable units, and long-deployment industrial controllers operational without requiring a new-processor qualification cycle.
